Automotive Turnkey EMC Test System

In 2012 we designed and built a turnkey EMC Test Facility for Otokar Automotive industries in Turkey.

This facility includes a 10-meter semi-anechoic chamber used interchangeably for radiated emissions and radiated immunity testing for automotive vehicles including cars, trucks, and buses per 2004/104/EC from 10 kHz to 40 GHz (120 dB shielding). The required Field strengths are up to 200 V/m.

 The chambers dimensions are 30 m x 22 m x 10 m and include a sliding 4.5 m x 5.5 m door. The chamber and system design allow multiple measurements to be made at the same time and significant reuse of instrumentation.

Anechoic EMC Test Chamber More

FACT 10 EMC Test Chambers installed at Canon Quality Management Headquarters

Canon completed a new large facility housing the Quality Management Headquarters in Tokyo, Japan in 2009. The facility includes three 10 meter EMC test chambers, each including a shielded measurement room and turntable pit.

Canon selected ETS-Lindgren to manufacture and install the new EMC test chambers for this multi-million dollar project. With over 50 years' experience in the design, manufacture and installation of RF shielded enclosures and anechoic chambers, ETS-Lindgren’s proven expertise assured Canon of a project that would be completed in a timely manner and meet the industry standards for EMC test chambers.

Wireless Over-The-Air Test Lab Model AMS-8923

Our MODEL AMS-8923 ANTENNA MEASUREMENT SYSTEM is a high speed, multi-antenna array test system. This model is ideally suited for automated measurement of antenna performance of wireless devices, and devices with embedded wireless functions.

The AMS-8923 Antenna Measurement System includes a custom multi-antenna array ring. This ring houses a system of dual-polarized antennas. Together, these antennas support testing between 700 MHz and 6 GHz.

An integrated laser alignment system assists with DUT positioning.

Anechoic Chamber for PIM Emissions Testing More

PIM Chamber Installed at Lockheed Martin Company

ETS-Lindgren installed a large RF shielded anechoic chamber for Passive Intermodulation (PIM) emissions testing of satellites at the Lockheed Martin Company (LMCO) production facility in Sunnyvale, California.

 

The chamber was designed to test commercial satellites as part of the Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) – a next-generation narrowband tactical satellite communications system created to significantly improve ground communications for U.S. defense forces on the move.

The RF shielded sliding door included in this chamber with a size of 9 x 11 is one of our largest and was designed and manufactured in our facility in Finland.

ETS-Lindgren has introduced an ambient lighting system that provides MRI staff the flexibility to adjust both color hues and luminosity of the MRI suites’ interior.

The development and commissioning of any MRI site is an extremely expensive undertaking. Quite often the interior design of the MRI suite is a simple, white color to save the expense of extensive design elements. This condition has left many MRI suites in a somewhat sterile and clinical state. In many cases patients feel apprehensive as they do not know what outcome awaits them as they enter the MRI. ETS-Lindgren has introduced our ambient lighting system that provides MRI staff the flexibility to adjust both color hues and luminosity of the MRI suites’ interior. This ability can have a very beneficial effect on your patient’s emotional state.

For modern, sophisticated Electron Microscopes used for imaging and manufacturing, the environment in which the equipment is located is critical for optimal resolution performance.

 

Stray AC magnetic fields caused by normal electrical equipment (transformers, switchgear, and lighting) and fluctuating DC magnetic fields (created by subways, elevators, and even nearby traffic) can significantly degrade image quality. They can make it impossible to use an electron microscope to its full potential. 

These stray magnetic fields can be controlled by the installation of our Magnetic Active Compensation System (MACS™). The MACS-System is a cost-effective, maintenance-free environmental magnetic field shielding solution for high-precision Electron Beam instrumentation. It provides real time compensation of environmental magnetic field fluctuations.
